Since the petitioners seek expeditious disposal of GR Case No.7602 of 2018 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties.

The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. This Court is informed that the case is pending since 2018 and charge sheet witness no.1 has been examined in part.

In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 88 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
