Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the de facto complainant and the State. Perused the case diary.

Considering the serious nature of injuries inflicted on vital parts of the body like scalp noted to be grievous in nature in the injury report, the statements of victims and witnesses implicating the present petitioner and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
