Supplementary affidavit disclosing subsequent events are placed on record. From the supplementary affidavit it appears that during pendency of CAN 5 of 2015 (Old CAN 8924 of 2015), fresh advertisement was issued in respect of the self-same distributorship. Letter of Allotment has been issued to one Hema Saha. It is also pleaded that an unsuccessful candidate, namely Ms. Saswati Roy, has assailed the rejection of her application in WP No. 24015(W) of 2019.

In view of the aforesaid developments, we direct the applicant Indian Oil Corporation Limited to issue notice upon the allotee, namely Ms. Hema Saha, with regard to the pendency of the proceeding.

The matter will appear on 4th April, 2023.
