Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been implicated in connection with the instant case on the basis of statement of co-accused persons. There has been no recovery from the petitioners and the petitioners are in custody for 41⁄2 months. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that commercial quantity of contraband being 309 grams of brown-sugar was seized along with huge Indian currency being recovered from another accused person.

Having considered that the investigation of the case is in progress, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the

petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.

Petitioners will renew their prayer for bail after the charge-sheet is submitted before the learned Special Court. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 47 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
