The application being CAN 3 of 2022 seeking extension of time to comply with our order dated April 17, 2019 is taken up for consideration.

The appellants/petitioners were paid certain amount, which according to them, is not commensurate with the relevant circulars/memorandum. Mr. Tapas Kumar Bhattacharya, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners, submits that the payment is not in accordance with the memorandum. Be that as it may, in the event, we find that the amount was not paid in terms of the memorandum, we may pass appropriate order for which there may not be any necessity to keep this application pending.

The application being CAN 3 of 2022 is, thus, disposed of without any order as to costs List the application for contempt on November 1, 2022

at 3-00 p.m.

Time to file affidavit of compliance by the alleged contemnor is extended by the adjourned date.
