In view of the innocuous prayer of the petitioner in this writ petition, let it be disposed of by directing the respondent no. 3 to immediately consider and decide as regards the application of the petitioner, received in the office of the respondent on December 10, 2024. Let it be mentioned that the matter relates to the petitioner's prayer for diversion of the route as per Section 80(3) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Let the said respondent consider and decide thereupon, after grant of reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and by dint of a reasoned order, positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of copy of this order.

His decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

With the above observations and directions the writ petition being WPA 370 of 2025 is disposed of. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents including the private respondents.
