In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the State-respondents.

The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at Nehru Balika Vidyalaya (H.S), Domjur, DistrictHowrah of the subject Computer Science. The District Inspector of Schools (S.E), the respondent no.3 herein, by the Memo dated September 25, 2014 had temporarily approved the appointment of the petitioner for two years.

The petitioner, praying permanent approval and payment of the arrear salary for the period from February 01, 2014 to June 30, 2014 with interest, has filed the instant writ petition.

Mr. Avijit Chakraborty, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the said arrear salary has been paid but without interest, however her prayer for permanent approval is still pending.

It appears from the record that the petitioner by a representation dated November 15, 2022 prayed for both the reliefs before the respondent no.

3. A part of which now since has been allowed, the respondent no. 3 is required to dispose of the remaining prayer in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order, if necessary after giving the petitioner opportunity of hearing.

W.P.A. 241 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
