Ms. Debjani Sahu ........for the petitioner Mr. Vimal Kumar Shahi Mr. Vijay Agarwal .......for the State Mr. Uttiya Ray Ms. Anima Maiti ......for respondent no. 5 In terms of order dated 19th May, 2025 report of the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purba Bardhaman dated 2nd June, 2025 is placed before this Court and same is taken on record. On perusal of said report, it appears that Provident Fund dues were released in fvaour of the petitioner after completing exercise on 28th may, 2025 along with interest for a period of six months from date of superannuation of the petitioner. In view of steps taken in terms of order dated 19th May, 2025, writ petition stands disposed of.

However, considering prayer of the petitioner for payment of interest due to delayed payment of Provident Fund dues, leave is granted to

petitioner to make a representation claiming interest before the concerned respondent authority within a period of fortnight from date. If such representation is made within aforesaid time, concerned authority shall decide the same in accordance with law. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
