In such a civil dispute, interference of the police is uncalled for.

The police have already initiated a proceedings under Section 107 and 116 (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 against respondent nos. 5 and 6 on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

Accordingly, the WPA 254 of 2024 is disposed of granting liberty upon the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum.
