Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated. No contraband substance was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and as such, his custodial detention is not necessary. Mr. Panda, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that contraband substance was recovered from the house of the petitioner and there are records disclosing his involvement in the alleged offence. Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials in the case diary, the nature of allegations and the extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail being CRM No.187 of 2021, is dismissed.
