Mr. Partha Pratim Das, Mrs. Eshita Dutta ... ... for the State Petitioner is in custody for 217 days. He renews his bail prayer. He submits that prayer of the victim was that petitioner had taken money from villagers. Subsequently, he has been falsely implicated in this case.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim implicates the petitioner in the crime. The bail prayer was rejected earlier. No materials in support of the defence canvassed by the petitioner is placed on record. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail at this stage.
