AGP Ms. Rupsha Chakraborty ... for the State-respondent The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his peaceful possession is being disturbed at the behest of the private respondents and, in spite of informing the same to the police authorities, they are not taking any action.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. The report reflects that three miscellaneous petitions were filed before the learned Executive Magistrate and enquiry reports were submitted. A Title Suit has also been filed

which is pending before the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Divn.), 1st Court, Barrackpore at the behest of the respondent nos. 4 and 5.

Be that as it may, the petitioner claims that he is being disturbed and harassed at the behest of the respondent nos. 4 and 5 in peaceful possession of his property.

In case, any information is furnished to the local police station in respect of the petitioner being disturbed, the police authorities will ensure that no untoward incident takes place at the behest of either of the parties.

However, the police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of peace and tranquility takes place in respect of the accusations made in the writ petition.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 264 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Let a copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.

Affidavit of service so filed be kept with the record.
