Mr. Amal Kumar Mukhopadhyay, learned advocate representing the applicant has placed before this Court the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench dated 19th February, 2024 passed on an intra Court appeal being MAT 2157 of 2023. The order dated 19th February, 2024 is taken on record.

On perusal of the order dated 19th February, 2024 passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench it appears that the direction as contained in the order of the coordinate Bench dated 3rd August, 2023 to grant benefits of MACP Scheme was modified by the Hon'ble Division Bench thereby directing the concerned authority to release the same from 2008 onwards.

It appears that the order passed by the coordinate Bench on 3rd August, 2023 stood merged with the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench on 19th February, 2024.

Accordingly, the contempt proceeding stands dropped with leave to the applicant to approach the appropriate forum in the event the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench dated 19th February, 2024 is not complied with.

The contempt application stands disposed of.
