Apprehending arrest in connection with Manikchak Police Station Case No.186 of 2020 dated 29.06.2020 under Sections 447/341/323/325/326/307/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the petitioners have filed the present application. Heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties. Considering the materials in the case diary including the statements of the witnesses, the injury reports and bearing in mind the nature of accusations in the light of the submissions as made by the parties and in view of the fact that upon completion of investigation chargesheet has been submitted, we are of the opinion that custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not necessary, more so when the role assigned to them appears to be similar to that of one Sukumar Mondal, who has already been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court.

Accordingly, we allow the application for anticipatory bail and direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners, namely, Janmejoy Mandal and Mangal Mandal shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 86 of 2022 is, thus, disposed of.
