The petitioner is an approved Group D Staff of Bhatun Junior High School, District : Uttar Dinajpur.

The petitioner is claiming that he has been selected as a research scholar at the Department of English & Modern European Language (MEL) in the University of Allahabad through CRET2022. The petitioner is alleging that to pursue the said course, he has applied for six months leave without pay before the Managing Committee of the school but his said application has not yet been attended by the school authority.

WPA 276 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the said Managing Committee of the said school to consider the said application of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is made clear that since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
