1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner/wife filed an application under Section 125 of the Code in June, 2023. In spite of this, the proceeding has not been concluded. Even the application of the petitioner for interim maintenance has not been considered.

2. No prejudice will be caused to anyone if direction is passed to expedite the proceeding.

3. It appears that there is an inordinate delay, at least in considering the petitioner's prayer for interim maintenance by the learned Trial Court.

4. In view of the above, the learned Magistrate is requested to conclude the proceeding in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, particularly to decide the issue of interim maintenance at the earliest, preferably within a period of six months from the next date of hearing.

5. With the above observations and directions, the revisional application is disposed of.

6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
