Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner was granted liberty to approach this Court after consideration of charges were over in CRM(M) 2063 of 2025.

I have taken into account the period of detention of the petitioner for one year five months and the recovery so effected in connection with the instant case.

Learned advocate for the State has opposed the prayer for bail, as the petitioner could not be traced out for a considerable period of time.Since the petitioner surrendered before the Trial Court and the charges have been framed andhaving regard to the quantum of recovery and period of detention of the petitioners, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

As such the prayer for bail of the petitioner are allowed. Petitioner, namely, Israil Mandal @ Sk will furnish bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) each with two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) each. One of whom must be local to the satisfaction of Learned Judge, Special Court, under NDPS Act Berhampore, Murshidabad.

If on bail, petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed by the learned Trial Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District of Murshidabad without the permission of learned Special Court.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 67 of 2026 is allowed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
