Ms. Gomes, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the criminal proceedings and he is in custody for 156 days. Upon completion of the investigation, charge sheet has already been filed and as such there is no necessity towards further detention of the petitioner. Mr. Sur, learned advocate appearing for the State respondent opposes the petitioner's prayer for bail.

Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials in the case diary and the nature of allegations, we are of the opinion that further detention of the petitioner is not necessary. Accordingly, the petitioner, namely, Sajal Kumar Bayen @ Bain, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like amount, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranaghat, Nadia.

The application for bail being CRM No.205 of 2021 is, thus, allowed.
