Mr. Ganguly, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the criminal proceedings and he is in custody for 80 days. Upon completion of the investigation, charge sheet has already been filed and in such circumstances, further detention of the petitioner is not necessary. Mrs. Bhattacharjee, learned advocate appearing for the State respondent opposes the prayer of the petitioner and submits that chargesheet has already been filed and trial has already commenced. Having heard the learned advocates and considering the materials the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the application for bail being CRM No.206 of 2021 is dismissed.
