Petitioner seeks bail.
Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there are contradictions in the deposition of the witnesses on behalf of the prosecution. Considering the period of detention of the petitioner, prayer for bail should be granted. Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that there are at least two statements recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicating the petitioner in the offences committed. He opposes the prayer for bail. Considering the materials in the case diary and the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is
rejected.
C.R.M. (DB) 59 of 2022 is dismissed.
