Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the orders passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Contail, Purba Medinipur on December 17, 2024 and December 23, 2024 in CR Case No. 201 of 2017 turning down the prayer of the parties for compounding the offences.

Learned counsel for the private opposite party submits that the entire amount of Rs. 17,70,000/- being paid by the petitioner, the opposite party has no grievance against the petitioner and the petitioner may be released on bail.

In view of the above, this Court does not find any reason to keep the petitioner behind the bar.

The orders impugned December 17, 2024 and December 23, 2024 passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Contail, Purba Medinipur in CR Case No. 201 of 2017 be quashed/ set aside.

The petitioner be released at once.

The revisional application being CRR No. 98 of 2025 is disposed of.
