None appears on behalf of the appellant. The respondents are also not represented.

Perused the office report dated March 01, 2022 which indicates that the appeal is ready for hearing. Two copies of paper book were filed way back on February 01, 1978.

The appeal is pending since 1974.

No steps have been taken by the appellant to get the appeal heard and disposed of during this long period which signifies that the appellant has lost his interest to proceed with the present second appeal.

The appeal being SA No. 75 of 1974 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs. Interim order, if there be any, stands vacated. The department is directed to send down the connected lower Court records immediately.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
