Petitioners are in custody for more than fix years. He submits there is delay in trial. Accordingly, they pray for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits bail prayer of the petitioner No.2 was turned down by this Court in May, 2023.

We have considered the materials on record. There are eyewitnesses implicating the petitioner in the crime. Offence, if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment. Trial is in progress and 15 witnesses have been examined. Bail prayer of the petitioner no.2 was rejected in May, 2023.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of petitioners is rejected.
