1. The instant revisional application has been filed, inter alia, in effect, praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 7th Court, Alipore to expeditiously hear out and dispose of the Ejectment Suit No. 3 of 2017.

2. Mr. Chakravarty, learned senior Counsel appearing in support of the aforesaid application by drawing attention of this Court to the order-sheet would submit that the application under Section 7(1) and 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act") has been filed by the opposite party on 15th May, 2017, such application is yet to be disposed of. He submits that unless this Court directs expeditious disposal of the aforesaid application filed by the opposite party/defendant, the petitioners shall suffer irreparable loss and injury.

3. Considering the nature of relief sought for, the present application has been taken up for consideration without

prior service of notice on the opposite party and noting that the application under Section 7(1) and 7(2) of the said Act is pending since 15th May, 2017, I am of the view that the learned Judge should expeditiously hear out and dispose of such application preferably within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

4. With the above observations and directions, the revisional application stands disposed of.

5. The petitioners are directed to communicate the aforesaid order and serve a copy of the revisional application on the opposite party and to intimate the factum of service before the learned Trial Court when the matter is taken up next.
