Ashutosh Pandey v. Dibyen Mukherjee
15.07.2021 IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA Sl. No.28 SPECIAL CIVIL JURISDICTION (PP) APPELLATE SIDE (Via Video Conference) WPCRC 22 of 2008 in WPA 17207 of 2004 Ashutosh Pandey Vs.
Dibyen Mukherjee The contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 14th October, 2004 passed in WP No. 17207 (W) of 2004. It appears that a Rule was issued against the alleged contemnor on 1st February, 2008.
The matter appeared in the list on 13th July, 2021 and was called on twice, but no one appeared on behalf of the parties. The matter is appearing in the list today marked as "Last Chance" with a note in the list that appropriate orders will be passed if no one appears in the matter. Even today no one appears in the contempt petition although an advocate had filled in the form for joining through the video mode on behalf of the contemnor/respondent but remain absent at the time when the matter was called on for the second time.
It appears that the parties are not interested to proceed further with the contempt petition. The same is disposed of without any further order.
Rule stands discharged accordingly.
