1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Victim has suffered grievous injury with a sharp cutting weapon i.e knife. Petitioner had absconded for a considerable period of time.

3. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
