It is a matter of public policy that interim orders passed by the civil court must be complied with.

In this case, the police authorities have been directed by the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) 1st Court, Barasat vide an order dated June 7, 2017 in Title Suit No.354 of 2017, that the Inspector inCharge, Barasat Police Station must see that the order of ad interim injunction is being duly complied with.

Mr. Rabiul Islam, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the order of ad-interim injunction has been extended from time to time.

Mr. Islam submits that the police authorities have failed and neglected to comply with the order of

the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court at Barasat and the construction work is going on in violation of the order passed by the learned Court below.

Under such circumstances, the Inspector inCharge, Barasat Police Station is directed to comply with the order dated June 7, 2017 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court, Barasat, if the ad-interim order is still subsisting. With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
