Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that all other co-accused were granted bail by the jurisdictional Court. Petitioner is in custody since November, 2019. Considering the period of custody, bail should be granted. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioner is the principal assailant. The petitioner fired bullet killing one person and injuring another. The expert reports reveal that the bullets match with the firearm which was seized from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for bail is rejected.

CRM(DB) 67 of 2022 is dismissed.
