It is the case of the petitioners that unauthorised and illegal construction is being carried out by the private respondents on PWD land. The petitioners had submitted various representations on the respondents. However, till now, no action has been taken by the respondents.

Learned counsel for the respondent/PWD, at the outset, states that they shall decide the representation of the petitioners made on December 21, 2023 within a period of four weeks by affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as the private respondent and shall pass a reasoned and speaking order from the date of communication of this order. The petitioners state that they shall be satisfied if their representation is duly decided by the

concerned authority and they does not wish to pursue the present writ petition.

With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
