1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had identified a different person as the vendor and assisted the registration of a forged deed. Co-accused who has been granted bail is an innocent purchaser for value. Petitioner's role in the crime is much graver.

3. Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of the crime, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.
