The petitioner states that an application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 was rejected at the first instance, from which he had carried an appeal. The first appeal was also decided against him and hence, the second appeal under Section 19 of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

It is this second appeal of September 1, 2023, which has been kept pending. The petitioner has inadvertently referred to the application of September 1, 2023, as that of May 11, 2023 in prayer (a) of the petition. Such error has been rectified.

The appellate authority is directed to dispose of the appeal preferred on September 1, 2023 by December 5, 2025, with a copy to the petitioner.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.

6. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since affidavits have not been called for, allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied.
