Upon perusal of the police report, it appears that Kotwali PS Case No. 1194/2021 was initiated on the basis of the compliant filed by the petitioners' sister. The concerned police authorities investigated the case and charge-sheet was filed vide Kotwali PS Charge Sheet No. 03/2022 dated January 6, 2022 under Sections 447/325/354/379/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code against the respondent no. 7. Proceeding initiated before the Sub-Divisional Executive Magistrate under Section 144 of the Cr.P.C., was also reached to its logical conclusion. Enquiry was made by the police authorities.

Prosecution under Section 107/116(3) of the Cr.P.C. has been submitted against the respondent no. 7. The said report is taken on record.

Thus, this court does not find that the police authorities have failed to discharge their duties under the law.

The writ petition is disposed of.

The police authorities shall ensure that no untoward incident takes place.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the server copy of this order.
