Mr. Malabika Roy Dey, .....for the Petitioners Mr. Arijit Ganguly, Ms. Sreeparna Das .....for the State Mr. Tanmoy Choudhury ... for the opposite party no.2 Mr. Ganguly, learned advocate appearing for the State submits a report incorporating the statement of the de facto complainant/private opposite party no.2 which reflects that the de facto complainant/private opposite party no.2 do not intend to proceed with the case under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code which was registered as Burdwan Womens P.S. case no.265 of 2021.

Report so submitted by the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record.

In view of the report so submitted, I am of the opinion that further continuance of the proceedings, which arise out of matrimonial discord, is unwarranted. Accordingly, all further proceedings relating to Burdwan Womens P.S. case no.265 of

2021(G.R. No.4171/2021) under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code is hereby quashed.

Thus, CRR 70 of 2022 along with CRAN 1 of 2022 is allowed.

All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. ( Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
