Tripathi .for the State The petitioner challenges an order dated January 2, 2025, issued by the Maheshtala Municipality. The petitioner contends that although they have completed the demolition of the unauthorized construction, the Municipality has issued another order on January 2, 2025, directing further demolition of the same construction. A cursory review of the notice dated January 2, 2025, clearly indicates that the petitioner has not yet completed the demolition work.

Consequently, the petitioner has been directed to complete the demolition by January 10, 2025. The Municipality has further stated that if the demolition is not completed by the petitioner by that date, it will

commence the demolition of the illegal structure on January 16, 2025, and continue until the work is fully executed.

The petitioner has not contested the original demolition order, dated November 19, 2024. As a result, the original demolition order must be implemented. In light of the foregoing, no interference is warranted.

Accordingly, WPA 516 of 2025 is dismissed.
