Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Having considered the materials on record and keeping in mind the specific overt act attributed to the petitioner in exhorting and assaulting the victim who succumbed to his injuries, we are of the opinion that in view of the gravity of the offence, this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
