Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the police authorities are not properly investigating Narkeldanga P.S (Sec P3) Case. 224 dated 19.09.2024 effectively. To that effect, the learned advocate submits that in spite of the case having registered in the month of September, 2024, no steps have been taken and the petitioner initially was referred to several police stations and lastly this police station decided to register FIR.

State has submitted a report which reflects that there are cases and counter-cases, although the petitioner has expressed her dissatisfaction regarding the process of investigation, but a report has been received from Tarakeswar Police Station

wherein it reflects that on the basis of a complaint furnished by the respondent no.9, enquiry is being conducted.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.10 submits that he has unnecessarily been implicated in the case and he has no role if the accusations as made in the complaint addressed to the police authorities are assessed.

Be that as it may, the police authorities are enquiring into the accusations made by the petitioner as well as enquiring the incidents complained of by the respondent no.9. Having regard to the steps taken by the police authorities and the complexity of the issues which are being investigated and/or enquired into by two police stations, I direct that so far as Narkeldanga Police Station is concerned, they would take effective steps, in case Tarakeswar Police Station do not prima facie find any culpability so far as the present petitioner is concerned.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 554 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
