Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant submits as follows. By a judgment dated 26.11.2024 in WPA 20741 of 2024 the writ petitioner was disposed of by directing respondent no. 3/Sub-Divisional Officer, Purba Medinipur to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2024 in accordance with law and expeditiously, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of that order. Although the representation was considered by the concerned authority and it was held that the construction was illegal, the matter was forwarded to the Assistant Engineer, I & W Department but no further steps were taken on the plea that police was not helping. 2.

It appears that the order passed by this Court upon respondent no. 3 therein to consider the petitioner's representation has already been complied with.

If there is a further cause of action arises, the petitioner will be at liberty to take up the issue before the appropriate forum.

However, no further order needs to be passed in this matter.

Accordingly, the application for contempt is disposed of without any further order, even as to costs. 6.

Let urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
