The petitioners allege that the names of the petitioners were illegally left out from the final list of the beneficiaries under the PMAY(G) scheme.

Without going into the merits of the writ petition, the District Magistrate, South 24-Parganas is directed to treat the writ petition as the representation of the petitioners and dispose of the same in accordance with law, upon hearing the learned Advocate representing the petitioners, the Block Development Officer, Mandir Bazar Block and the Pradhan of Krishnapur Gram Panchayat. Before taking a decision, an enquiry shall be held by a team constituted by the District Magistrate to look into the allegations.

reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to all.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order.

This Court has not gone into the merits of the claims of the petitioners.

A copy of the writ petition along with a server copy of this order be served upon the District Magistrate, South 24-Parganas.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
