Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for about 200 days and has been implicated in connection with the instant criminal case on the accusation of recovery of 27.5 Kgs. of Ganja. According to the petitioner charge-sheet has already been submitted and copies have been supplied, as such the petitioner may be released on bail on any stringent condition. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Having considered the period of detention of the petitioner, I direct the learned Judge, Special Court, under N.D.P.S Act, Berhampore, Murshidabad to release the

petitioner on bail after the stage of consideration of charges are over.

With the aforesaid direction C.R.M. (NDPS) No 68 of 2026 is disposed of.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
