The petitioner claims that the private respondent is effecting construction on his land. He has complained to the Ramnagar Police, but in vain. This Court is of the view that the title of the land cannot be decided by the police.

The petitioner may seek appropriate civil or statutory remedies in this regard.

Ramnagar Police shall, however, ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
