Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits she is the mother-in-law of the deceased wife. It is also submitted she has been falsely implicated. She prays for anticipatory bail. 2.
Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record.
Statement of the mother of the deceased shows there was a love affair between the deceased and her husband, Partha. After marriage she was ill treated and driven out of her matrimonial home. Subsequently she was again brought back to her matrimonial home but she was driven out on the accusation of having committed theft. On the fateful day her husband abused her filthily and she committed suicide. From the aforesaid narration it appears though there are general Signed By :

allegations against the mother-in-law i.e. petitioner the immediate cause which triggered suicide are the abuses hurled by the victim's husband. In light of the fact and extent of complicity of the petitioner in the crime and as there is no chance of abscondence we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to her.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and on condition that she shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within a period of four weeks from date.
