Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that considering the period of detention of the petitioner and considering the fact that police filed charge-sheet, prayer for bail of the petitioner should be granted. She contends that the victim set herself on fire and told the police about the same.. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the victim. He submits that the victim named the husband, mother-in-law and uncle-inlaw as the persons involved in the incident. It appears from the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the victim that the petitioner named the mother-in-law as one of the persons involved in the incident.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.
