Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The primary grievance of the writ petitioners is that though they have been providing services to the passengers in the route Ballyhalt to Eco Space, they have recently learnt that one route has been introduced by the 3rd respondent from Dankuni to Doltala which is overlapping the existing route of the petitioners. The petitioners submitted a representation in this regard before the concerned authority on 9th November, 2023 and have prayed for a direction upon the authority to consider the representation at the earliest.

Placing reliance upon the letter issued by the Secretary, RTA, North 24 Parganas, Barasat on 18th January, 2024, learned counsel for the respondents

submits that no route has been created from Dankuni to Doltala and the apprehension of the petitioners is without any basis.

In view of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of.
