1. Petitioner submits that there is no direct evidence connecting with the murder. He prays for bail.

2. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer.

3. Statement of the son of the victim shows petitioner had dragged the victim from the residence. He assaulted him. As a result, the victim died.

4. In view of the gravity of the offence and incriminating the evidence, we are not inclined to grant bail.
