Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his information furnished to the police authorities/Inspector-in-Charge of Uluberia Police Station were not acted upon and petitioner has suffered a financial loss of Rs. 28,00,000/-. Learned advocate appearing for the state has submitted that the police authorities have incorporated in their regular general diary vide GDE No. 383 dated 05.12.2024.

However, in spite of repeated request to sign the formal FIR, the petitioner is not attending the police station. As such the case cannot be registered only on technical grounds.

Having considered the overall scenario expressed on behalf of the state, I direct that in case the petitioner attends the police station, the police

authorities would proceed in accordance with law as expressed in the report before this court.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 551 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
