Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioners are family members. There are continuous disputes and quarrels among them. Series of criminal cases have been registered. Both parties have suffered injuries. Though one of the injuries appear to be grievous, the same requires to be assessed in light of attending circumstances particularly her continuous hostilities between family members. Custodial interrogation for progress of investigation is not necessary and petitioners may be granted anticipatory bail subject to conditions.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the Signed By : ALOK SETH High Court of Calcutta 14 th of January 2025 12:03:59 PM

conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS and on further condition petitioner No.1, Rinku Chakraborty and petitioner No.4, Asit Chakraborty while on bail shall meet the Investigating Officer once in a week until further orders. They shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
