1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner retired from service on 30th September, 2025. Allegation is that his pension file has not been made ready by the school after clearing the objection raised by the accounts department.

3. The petitioner filed representation before the school authority but the same has also not been considered till date.

4. Prayer has been made to direct the respondents to make his pension file ready and forward the same to the DPPG for issuance of Pension Payment Order.

5. Learned advocate representing the State respondents relies upon the instruction forwarded by the District Inspector of Schools,

Secondary Education, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas dated 29th January, 2026.

6. It appears therefrom that the school authority submitted the physical copy of the pension paper of the petitioner to the District Inspector of Schools on 23rd July, 2025. The same was forwarded to the office of the Deputy Director of Accounts on 24th July, 2025. The Deputy Director of Accounts made some observations in the pension paper and returned the same. The District Inspector of Schools sent back the pension file of the petitioner to the school on 29th August, 2025 for necessary corrections. The teacher-in-charge of the school has not yet complied with the observations made by the Deputy Director of Accounts.

7. The school is not represented. There is no proof of service upon the school.

8. As it appears that the petitioner has retired from service on 30th September, 2025, it is high time that the pension file of the petitioner is made ready after meeting the necessary objections raised by the accounts department.

9. The teacher-in-charge of the school is directed to take all necessary steps to rectify the errors pointed out by the accounts department and forward the same to the District Inspector of Schools at the earliest but positively by 27th February, 2026.

10. In the event the same is not forwarded to the District Inspector of Schools within the time limit as specified hereinabove, the District Inspector of Schools shall do the needful for meeting the objections and making the pension file of the petitioner ready. If the school

does not cooperate, it will be open for the DI to take legal action against the school in accordance with law.

11. The petitioner, the school and the District Inspector of Schools are directed to cooperate with each other for the purpose of complying with all the formalities required for making the pension file of the petitioner ready.

12. After complying with all the formalities, the pension file of the petitioner shall be forwarded to the DPPG for issuance of Pension Payment Order in favour of the petitioner.

13. The respondent authorities shall ensure that the Pension Payment Order is issued in favour of the petitioner latest by 30th June, 2026.

14. The writ petition stands disposed of.
