None appears on behalf of the petitioner.

This Court on 24.07.2025 recorded that petitioner may file exception to the report filed by the PSC. A bare perusal of the relief clause shows that petitioner has prayed for quashing of the appointments made on the post of lower division clerk / lower division assistant contrary to the statutory rules.

The relief relates to service matter. Apart from this, the grievance of this nature can be raised by a person who is an "aggrieved person". At his behest, a particular illegal appointment can be called in question.

We find no reason to conduct any roving enquiry in this matter. Even otherwise, it appears that petitioner has lost interest in this matter and has not chosen to file any exception to the report filed by the PSC.

For these cumulative reasons, the writ petition / PIL is dimissed.
