The petitioner claims that he appeared in the TET Examination 2014 and was successful. Thereafter, he was called for scrutiny/verification and interview/aptitude test conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education on December 11, 2016. According to the petitioner he reported on the scheduled date but thereafter his name was not empanelled in the list of successful candidates. The petitioner presently prays for a direction upon the respondent authorities to permit him to participate in the recruitment process, which was initiated in December 2020.

Admittedly, the petitioner did not participate in the 2020 recruitment process. The petitioner also did not follow up his case for not empanelling his name even though he was asked to attend the interview in the year

2016. The petitioner simply sat tight over the matter for a considerable period of time.

At such a delayed date there is no scope to pass any direction upon the respondent authorities to permit him to participate in the recruitment process which is long over.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
