Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody for 66 days and charges have been framed.

Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that one country made improvised gun was recovered along with two ammunitions. There were recovery of sharp cutting weapons also.

Having considered the period of detention of the present petitioners and that they have no antecedents, I am of the view that further detention of the petitioners are not warranted.

In view of the above, the prayer for bail is allowed. Accordingly, the petitioners viz, Raj Kumar Mahato, Bishal Kumar, Gulshan Kumar and Rakesh Kumar shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs. 20,000/- each, with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be

local, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandannagar, Hooghly.

If on bail, the petitioners shall be physically present on each and every date so fixed by the learned Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of the district of Hooghly without prior permission of the learned Court and on further condition that till the investigation is concluded the petitioners shall once in a week meet with the Investigating Officer of the case.

The application for bail, being CRM (M) 114 of 2026 is, thus, disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent Photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
